Thai Agriculturist Association launched a statement on Friday, demanding the government to offer a rice price guarantee of at least 10,000-12,000 baht per tonne. 

The National Oil Palm Policy Committee has approved a guaranteed price for palm oil of Bt4 per kilogram for growers with not more than 25 rai and will submit the guarantee to the cabinet for approval within two weeks, deputy prime minister and commerce minister Jurin Laksanawisit said after the meeting on Monday.
